2000 Visitors

I would just like to thank everyone that has visited my blog over the last few months.

Its my great honor to have shared my own training as well as training advice with 2000 different people. The world-wide interweb is a wonderful thing. I don't know how I could have hoped to have reached so many people in so little time without it.

That being said, I still have the same old problem; comments.
I got into the blog game to have a conversation with some folks! Right now, the ratio of visits to comments is about a 120:1 which is a substantial improvement(back in the day), but I feel like I could do better. So my message to you, dear visitors; Say Anything.

Questions? Comments. Don't like my beard? (It's a frequent topic of debate) Don't like Ivan Drago*? SAY IT!

I like the beard, keep it. How many submissions have you got in newaza just by rubbing it against folk? Ivan Drego is a monster. I loved Apolo, he wasn't all that died in that ring - hope to.

My beard is too lustrous and silken to actually submit anyone.

Beards are not for light weights bro. You have to get yourself at least over 200lbs to have one.

i like the blog, wish you post more often, and give more direction toward, what e how frequent you think training should be.

training should be based on goals.

i think it should be heavy, frequent and brief. rarely too failure.

You're a complete dufus. Nobody in their right mind would use you as a personal trainer. Genius? In your dreams.

I don't think that anonymous people should really have opinions.

In my dreams I am frequently many things; soccer goalie, small bird, lion tamer, anthropologist.

never genius.

Well at least you realize you are never a genius. This is America, everyone is entitled to an opinion, whether you think they should have them or not. Focus on adding your own strenght and endurance before coaching others. Having witnessed your "workouts" in person, you need to focus on helping yourself before helping others.

genius isn't my dream, it's my burden.

workouts are one amongst many. I have mistakenly dismissed things i didn't understand before too.

Genius is not your burden, hubris is. You are not a genius. Far from it. You offer nothing new. You simply rehash what you read. Nothing genius there.

I admire your effort, but your arrogance is really a turn-off for someone who has not accomplished much of anything. Your PRs are low, your build is slight, and your training methods are reduxes. Nothing wrong with any of that, but don't claim genius when there is nothing genius here to be found--Simply regurgitation.

wow.

because I use the same ingredients as other chefs, doesn't negate the possibilities that I might create a new dish.

my own performances say nothing about my abilities as a coach. but I still consider pulling 415lbs at 157lbs natural, and raw, to be good. I am proud of what I do in lifting not because I beat others, but because of the progress that I have made.

my build is slight because I am an athlete, one who competes in a weight class sport. and because of my own values, both economic, ethic and aesthetic.

this is also america, where anonymous libel is frowned upon.

Reading books about training, and culling different training regimens, and placing them into a coherent whole isn't genius. Hundreds of thousands of trainers do that each day. You are but one among them. Hardly genius--more like dime a dozen.

Anyone can make progress in lifting and training, that doesn't qualify them to train others or make them a genius. Your stats would place you at or near the bottom of lists of elite trainers, or trainers of elite athletes.

Your build is not slight because you are an athlete. Plenty of athletes, both elite level and below, are far more developed in their musculature than you are. Being an athlete does not mandate a slight build.

I have trained plenty of people of more modest economic means with far more athletic and muscular development. Your personal economic situation is but an excuse.

If your personal values and ethics require you to be nearly underweight and skinny, more power to you, but larger, stronger, more powerful individuals will continue to outperform you.

One problem with your "libel" claim--libel has to be FALSE accusations to the public. That is hardly the case here. You open up your own blog to comments, and the public isn't exactly tearing up a storm reading your blog buddy.

Having been a trainer for quite a while myself, I know an ahtlete when I see one, as well as a blowhard. You are insecure and look to overhype yourself as a "genius". Those who have to toot their own horns usually realize nobody else is going to do it for them bc it is undeserved.

So stop being an arrogant know-it-all, and stop trying to tell others what to do. Get your own self in better shape first.
