China, Tibet and Judo

I like Tibetans. And Buddhism...

but here it is from his holiness;

The Olympics is one of the greatest events in the World, and we're lucky it happens at all, if only once every four years. Me and his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama agree; let the kids have their games. We can complain about China any time.

On a related note;
for my judoka;

check out the Chinese National Team's digs!

thanks for your contribution-

conspiracy theories aside, there's plenty of logic behind the idea that the 'Tibet issue' destabilizes the People's government of China, and some American administrations may have an interest in that.

What that doesn't change is the illegitimacy of the Zhong Guo being there at all.

But the Olympics is no more the time or place to protest this than any other time or place.

Come on,China!
Peace and development are the themes of the times.People across the world should join hands in advancing the lofty cause of peace and development of mainkind.
Our Chinese people have been a freedom-and-peace-loving nation.We have always hoped for the world to be at paece and the people of various countries to co-exist friendly.

The fact that Beijing,which is the capital of China,has been awarded it's success in winning the right to host the 2008 Olympic Games shows the world's recognition and trust of Beijing.We will try our best to manage such an important game.Although,in the deliver of the Olympic Flame,there once occurrence some mirthless affair,we still believe that the Beijing Olympic Games will finally be the most successful one.

I hope that all the peace-loving people join hands and work for lasting world peace and the common development of all nations and regions.Besides,I hope everyone support the Beijing Olympic Games!

"winning the right to host the 2008 Olympic Games shows the world's recognition and trust of Beijing"

or desire to trade with Beijing, or appease it... not unlike Moscow in 1980 or Berlin in 1936.

This blog is dedicated to strength and conditioning for grapplers. As such, if you don't have anything to share about O-lifting for Judo, I'll thank you to desist from posting your propaganda here.

Thanks!
